BELLEVILLE – Around 40 soldiers from the 4th Canadian Division Reserve units in Ontario will be conducting a military training exercise this weekend and next.
Military training will take part in the town of Picton and the village of Bloomfield from November 24 to 26 and December 1 to 3.
The soldiers will be taking part in a humanitarian assistance scenario that will involve role-players. One of their tasks will be to gather information about the area in order to advise the international organizations on the best course of action.
Members of the public who are interested in learning more about the exercise are invited and encouraged to engage the soldiers.
These simulation operations are used to ensure that the Canadian Army soldiers are ready for future operation.
