Hospice Quinte launches 23rd annual Memorial Trees fundraiser

BELLEVILLE – Hospice Quinte will be holding its 23rd annual Memorial Trees fundraiser starting Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Quinte Mall.
Memorial Trees is Hospice Quinte’s longest-standing fundraising campaign, and it has raised over $60,000 to provide hospice care to those in the Quinte region.
The Memorial Tree fundraiser is way for people to honour the lives of those close to them who will not be around this holiday season by making a donation and placing a card bearing the person’s name on one of the trees that will be up in the Quinte Mall.
The executive director of Hospice Quinte, Jennifer May-Anderson, said a new element this year is that donations will be accepted online, at hospice-quinte.ca.
The event runs from Dec. 9 to 17.
