BELLEVILLE – Quinte West OPP may never have an easier impaired driving arrest. On Saturday night, just before midnight, a woman turned herself over to Quinte West OPP. She was facing charges including domestic mischief and forcible entry. Police say that while they were talking to the woman, it was clear that there was a strong smell of alcohol coming from her. After further investigation it was discovered that the woman had driven to the police station while under the influence of alcohol.
The 25 year old woman now also faces a charge of driving while impaired.
Earlier that evening, Quinte West OPP received a report of a possible impaired driver on Glen Miller Road.
A 20 year old man also faces impaired driving charges.
