Friends raise funds for Presqu’ile park at annual craft show

The 27th annual Christmas at Presqu’ile Arts and Crafts show is big fundraising event drawing in thousands of people.
Run by the Friends of Presqu’ile Park, this annual event helps support the park and the programs. It is the largest fundraiser for the entire year with an average of 5,000 people through. The show runs five days in November on the first two weekends and the Wednesday in between. The carefully selected work of 142 artists from across Ontario is for sale in the show. The show has grown significantly since starting 26 years ago. It now occupies three different buildings within the park as well as having 250 people volunteer to help run the show.
The show will be open this weekend both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
