BELLEVILLE – Various organizations around Belleville and the Quinte Region are wrapping up their donation campaigns this month.
But even as the local Salvation Army has been able meet its donation goals, others, like the local United Way, are extending their campaigns, hoping to avoid falling short again.
While donations may be harder to come by, these organizations agree that the need for them, and the services they provide, are only becoming greater.
This week on In Touch with Quinte, Mike Fleming discusses the challenges faced with gathering donations and the great need for them with the community service director of the Salvation Army Belleville and the executive director of the United Way Hastings and Prince Edward.
