Man charged with impaired driving after hitting parked car in Belleville

BELLEVILLE – A man was charged with impaired driving Tuesday after a parked car on MacDonald Avenue was struck by another vehicle.
At about 2:30 p.m., one vehicle struck another and was blocked in until police arrived, according a news release from the Belleville police.
The man who police say was driving was arrested and taken to the police station, where he gave two breath samples. He was charged with impaired driving and driving with more than the legal alcohol limit in his bloodstream.
He has been released from custody with the promise to appear in court on Feb. 14.
