BELLEVILLE – A call to a domestic dispute in Faraday Township Friday led to charges including illegal possession of a Taser weapon.
At around 6 p.m. Friday, the Bancroft OPP received a call about a man and woman arguing outside the woman’s house. Officers found out the man was under an order not to communicate with the woman after an earlier domestic dispute in which multiple charges were laid.
The man was arrested and after a search, police say, they found he had a Taser. He was charged with failing to comply with earlier conditions and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
He was detained until a court hearing could be held Saturday.
