Christmas lights destroyed at multiple Belleville houses
BELLEVILLE – Police are investigating two incidents at two houses where residents told police their Christmas lights had been vandalized.
Belleville police were notified at 3:21 p.m. on Monday by a homeowner in the city east-end who said that during the day somebody had cut the cord to their Christmas lights.
The resident told police that the same cord was cut the day before.
Later in the day, police were called to a home in Bridge Street West.
There they were told somebody had cut the stings to the Christmas lights at that resident.
This was the second time that this happened to the homeowner. She called the police on Saturday regarding a similar incident.
The investigation is still continuing police said.
