BELLEVILLE – Frontenac OPP have confirmed 33-year-old Matthew Jamieson from Nova Scotia as the victim of 35-car pile up in the westbound lane of Highway 401 outside of Kingston.
The accident took place between the Highway 15 and Montreal Street exits and closed the highway from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday while crews investigated and cleared vehicles.
The victim of Sunday’s pile up was confirmed via twitter Monday morning.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation is advising drivers to go slowly when they see snow.
The investigation into the cause of the pile up and what exactly happened is ongoing, according to police.
