BELLEVILLE – Belleville organizations will get their chance to make suggestions on where the Ontario’s 2020-21 budget should go.
The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs at Queen’s Park will hold public hearings on the budget in six cities starting Friday.
Belleville’s hearing will take place next Wednesday and will feature oral presentations from local organizations.
Provincial Finance Minister Rod Phillips will also be travelling around the province to talk to residents about how they want the budget to be spent.
Those meetings will be held until Feb. 11.
The provincial government also has a survey open to everyone to share their ideas and concerns.
