Napanee search warrant turns up drugs and drug paraphernalia
BELLEVILLE – A variety of drugs and approximately $2,500 was recovered after police executed a search warrant at a house on Dundas Street in Greater Napanee Monday morning
Methamphetamine, cocaine and psychedelic mushrooms along with drug paraphernalia and more than $2,500 in cash were seized, according to the Lennox and Addington OPP. Officers with the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit and the Tactics and Rescue Unit executed the search warrant.
A 27-year-old Greater Napanee man has been charged with the following offences:
- Two counts of breaching probation
- Three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by the proceeds of crime
- Two counts of failing to comply with the terms of a recognizance.
The man was held for a bail hearing and appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee Tuesday.
