A Quinte West man has been charged after a bottle of vodka was stolen, a woman and her dog assaulted, and a building damaged, said police.
Greg Sloan, 37, was charged with theft and mischief under $5000, being intoxicated in a public place, cruelty to animals, assault, and breach of probation.
Witnesses at the Trenton LCBO informed police a man had taken a bottle of vodka around 8 p.m. Monday, said Quinte West OPP in a news release.
Just over an hour later police responded to a Marmora Street home where a man was causing mischief to a building, and assaulting a woman and her dog, said police.
