Police seek help in case of disembodied foot in Brighton area

BELLEVILLE – Police are looking for information about a human left foot in a size 11 women’s shoe that floated up on the shoreline of Lake Ontario at Presqu’ile Provincial Park near Brighton, Ont.
The shoe was found on Sept. 11 on the north shore of Gull Island, which is located in the park. It is a Mizuno grey, purple and pink shoe. Forensic tests are being done on the foot to try to determine the identity of the person it came from.
The Ontario Provincial Police have released a video about the mystery.
Attempts by QNet News to reach the OPP for more information were unsuccessful.
Anyone with information regarding the human remains is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or the Brighton OPP detachment at 613-475-1313.
