Power still out across Ontario
By Greg Murphy
As a result of a severe weather system that blew through Ontario and Quebec last night, 73, 000 Hydro One customers, as a result of 577 different outages, are still without power.
Geoff Coulson, meteorologist for Environment Canada, said the severe storm system moved through the Sault St. Marie area and up through northeastern Ontario yesterday.
Coulson said the storm system developed in the Colorado area and is currently over the James Bay area.
He said severe weather is common throughout the month of November, which he calls a transition month, as warm air is met with cold winter air.
