Arrests made in home invasion

BELLEVILLE – Arrests have been made in connection with a home invasion and assault that took place earlier this month in Belleville.
On Nov. 5 at approximately 11:30 p.m., police investigated a complaint that several disguised males entered home on Moira Street West with baseball bats and demanded money.
A male was assaulted at the residence and taken to hospital with serious head injuries. He has since been released.
Police have arrested three teenagers with aggravated assault, assault with weapon, disguise with intent, break, enter and commit, and possession of a prohibited weapon. Charged is a 17-year-old Belleville male, a 17-year-old Frankford male and 18-year-old Ryan O’Shaughnessy of Belleville.
O’Shaughnessy and the Frankford youth remain in custody. The 17-year-old Belleville boy was released with conditions to a surety during a bail hearing this past Friday.
