Bad winter weather continues

BELLEVILLE – Bad winter weather continued today for the Quinte area.
Thursday morning started with a snow-squall warning in effect and then lessened to a snow-squall watch.
Blowing snow continued throughout the day.
All school buses in Prince Edward County were cancelled due to the weather conditions.
The snow-squall watch has now been dropped, but Environment Canada has a wind-chill warning is in effect. There is a 60-per-cent chance of flurries tonight and local blowing snow this evening.
The low tonight is forecast at -21C, but it will feel more like -30C with the windchill, Environment Canada says.
