FOXBORO – Residents in at least one house near the Moira River in Foxboro have been evacuated due to rising water.
Two people and two dogs were taken by boat from their home this morning. QNet reporter Riley Maracle describes the home as having “water rising almost as high as the front door.”
Water levels are rising and will continue to rise for the next couple of day. A flood warning for the area has been issued.
The community centre in Foxboro will be opened for people who’ve had to leave their homes because of rising water.
