Belleville man facing child porn charges
BELLEVILLE – A Belleville man has been charged with possessing child pornography as part of a provincewide investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police.
OPP announced the charges at a press conference in Vaughan, Ont. Numerous charges were laid across the province after a massive investigation. As a part of that investigation, Belleville Police executed a search warrant at a home in Belleville.
The 45-year-old man is facing several charges, including two counts of possessing child pornography, two counts of accessing child pornography, and two counts of making available child pornography.
The man was released with a court appearance scheduled for November.
A total of 60 people were charged in connection with the investigation.
