Jim Alyea
Jim Alyea was born and raised in Murray. He’s a fifth generation farmer in the area and has been involved in municipal politics for many years; twenty two of those years as an elected official and fourteen of those on Quinte West council. Alyea hopes to continue on with items on the current council agenda. The includes work on infrastructure, and to continuing work on the Trenton sewage plant. He plans to help apply for federal and provincial grants so the extra cost doesn’t fall onto the municipality. Alyea says he has the time and the commitment to be a councillor.
