Accidents all over the place in Belleville Tuesday
BELLEVILLE – Two men were charged after two separate collisions on Tuesday in Belleville.
A 32-year-old man was charged by police for following too closely after a two-car collision on Sidney Street at College Street West at 11:15 a.m. No one was injured as a result.
Another man, who is 52 and from Toronto, was charged for failing to yield to traffic after a two-car collision on Bell Boulevard at North Front Street at 6 p.m. There were no injuries in that collision as well.
Belleville Police responded to five other collisions Tuesday:
- At 1:04 p.m., two vehicles collided on College Street East.
- At 1:36 p.m., police responded to a minor accident on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road.
- At 5 p.m., emergency workers responded to a two-car collision on Moira Street West and treated one of the drivers for minor injuries. One of the vehicles was towed from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
- At 5:09 p.m., police went to the FreshCo parking lot to investigate a two-vehicle collision.
- At 7:10 p.m., there was a two-vehicle collision in the Quinte Mall parking lot.
