Loyalist hosts pumpkin-carving competition

  • October 26, 2015 at 1:37 pm

By Tara Henley

BELLEVILLE – Loyalist College will be hosting its annual pumpkin-carving contest Monday night.

Students that signed up last week are able to pick up their pumpkins from residence commons any time during the day. Residence advisers judging the competition will go to the competitors’ apartments to judge their carvings starting at 7 p.m. The student or students with the most creative carving will win a pizza party.

The competition is part of a series of Halloween-related activities going on at the college this week, ending with a Halloween pub Thursday night, where students will be encouraged to show off their costumes.

More to come.
