Drug charges after major police search on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road
BELLEVILLE – Quinte West OPP officers have charged three people with several counts of drug possession after a search on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road Wednesday night.
Officers with the detachment as well as the OPP’s drug-enforcement and emergency-response teams executed the search warrant.
Three people, aged 23, 20 and under 18, have been charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, prescription medication, cannabis resin and psilocybin, all for the purpose of trafficking.
One of the three was also charged with possession of property obtained by crime. He was found with $5,500 worth of drugs, money and cell phones, police say.
All three have been released and will appear in court in December.
