STIRLING – “Give us the last 90 years, and we’ll give you centuries,” says John Docherty, genealogy assistant at the Stirling Public Library.
Docherty and his partner, Phil Martin, say they have helped dozens of families in the area find out about long lost relatives. Family trees are generated through their extensive research, now made easier through sites like ancestry.ca.
Listen to QNet News’ coverage of the story.
If you’re interested in learning your family history, Docherty and Martin can be found at the library every Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m.
