Loyalist College students share their New Year resolutions
BELLEVILLE– Losing weight, saving money, and getting a job are just some of the top New Year’s resolutions that Loyalist College students are making this year.
“I hope I can be healthier so I can feel more better about myself”, said Baylee Merrigan, a first-year social services student.
Jessica Baldwin, a second-year radio broadcasting student, is also hoping she can spend more time this year taking better care of herself.
Chelsen Nobly, a second-year survey technician student said that money is her top priority in 2016.
“I’m hoping to decrease my debt load”, Nobly said.
First-year recreation and leisure services student, Becky Coles, is hoping she can keep her resolution by learning to not waste her day by sleeping too much.
Ramon Scar, a first-year biotechnology student, hopes to make a difference this new year.
Becoming a Canadian citizen and traveling is on Rostyalv Hovounko to-do list in 2016.
But not every student sees the point of making a resolution this year.
“I think if you wanted to change something about yourself, you wouldn’t have waited for the new year”, said second-year tv & new media student Angele Sicard.
