BELLEVILLE – The Trenton Golden Hawks continued their undefeated streak Wednesday against the Toronto Patriots winning 5-1.
The Hawks are set to play at home Friday against the Pickering Panthers.
The Wellington Dukes are currently on a four-game winning streak with a victory against Milton IceHawks Sunday.
They head to Newmarket Thursday to face the Hurricanes and play the Burlington Cougars at home Sunday.
Meanwhile…the Loyalist women’s soccer team was in action last night at the Zwicks Park field, losing a close game 2-1, but scoring their first season goal against the Fleming Knights.
The women play again at home Friday against the Algonquin Thunder.
Both the men’s and women’s rugby teams lost their first games of the season to St. Lawrence last Saturday.
They meet the Algonquin Thunder in Ottawa on Sunday.
