Loyalist College is gearing up to unveil its new Link Lounge.
Loyalist student government took student feedback from past online surveys to create the new space. The link lounge will serve as a link between the college’s main building and the new Sustainable Skills, Technology and Life Sciences Centre.
The lounge, funded through financial support from full time students, will feature a hydration station, study pods and seating for more than 100 students. It will also feature a living wall. The wall stands 3.6 metres tall by 8.8 metres wide. It contains around 334 different species of plants.
To date, the 6,135-square-foot space is student government’s largest facility-related project.
The link lounge is scheduled to open Friday, April 15 at 11 a.m.
