Toyota left damaged after incident in Pioneer building parking lot

BELLEVILLE — Police were on the scene of an incident in the Pioneer Building parking lot between 1 and 1:30 p.m today at Loyalist College following an incident involving a red Toyota Rav4 and Belleville city bus.
The impact left no visible damage to the bus itself but sheered off the Toyota’s rear bumper. A police officer was on-site, speaking with both drivers. After a delay, the bus drove away from the incident. The Toyota remained in the parking lot.
Belleville Transit was contacted for comment but at this time they aware of any details on the accident. All at the site of the collision declined to comment. Police would not comment on the scene.
