Burger Revolution voted one of the best burgers
BELLEVILLE – Burger Revolution in Belleville is one of the top food joints in Canada to get a burger.
It just took the #7 spot on Canadian Living’s reader survey asking people to name the best burger in Canada.
Jeffrey Camacho, along with his wife Rayling, own and operate the small burger joint on North Front Street along with a few staff members. Closing in on their fifth year, he says being dubbed seventh in the country is great, “but we aren’t even close to finished.”
“April 28, we opened our doors and it’s been busy since that day,” Camacho said in reference to the anniversary that’s coming up.
The husband and wife duo say their success came from years of experience working in fine-dining restaurants, and valuing the engaged customer service that should compliment quality food – something that Camacho says you don’t always get from other food establishments. At first he credited the business’s success to luck, but then he corrected himself.
“But not really, it’s not luck, it’s just the food.”
The couple grill their famous burgers with local sustainable grain-fed beef and “the freshest locally grown produce and cheese available”. Burger Revolution says the business is the foundation of a “flavour movement”, to create the most delicious, flavourful burger possible.
The couple say they are grateful for Canada’s votes, and will be making a “big announcement” about the future of Burger Revolution on the fifth anniversary this month.
Canadian Living held a poll for their readers on the best burgers in Canada. Burger Revolution was nominated by a local Belleville resident, according to Camacho. Readers voted, and the top establishments were announced on March 24.
“From the well-loved establishments you stop at en route to the cottage to the newer spots that experiment with fun toppings, here are the best places to get a burger across Canada,” the site announced.
